_{Jayden looked up to Asaku with a strange expression on his face. Not an annoyed face, but a confused face. This dog was just going on and on, she had already lost his attention. The one thing she did do that caught his attention, the collar was extremely tight around her neck and was driving her insane. He was wondering if it harmed her breathing, he knew it couldn't help her on a hunt. He wouldn't be surprised if she couldn't catch anything larger than an average bird with that thing restraining the movement of her head like that. "Do you want that off? I could easily get that off for you. That is if you trust me enough to not kill you while I snap it off of your neck." Jayden slightly chuckled at the thought, he was never one to kill for no reason. He always had a good cause for killings and always had a reason behind a fight. There was no reason to kill the strange wolf, but she didn't know any of this about him. So he wasn't going to be surprised when she were to flee at the thought of his teeth by her throat.}

Firah was silent for a while, as if she sensed that she was being too talkitive and was annoying. It took her a while to reply to Jayden - "Oh! Um, no thankyou. Not that I don't trust you or anything - heh, I'm still on the borderline between trust and none - , but I don't really think it would be right to take it off. My heart's still closely tied to it, if you know what I mean" she said, and then she was silent once more. Her tail stopped wagging suddenly, and dropped down by her side. Her furr rippled in a small breeze, looking much like a burning fire that started at her feet, turning them to ash. As oon as the breeze stopped, her furr fell flat against her skin, looking once again like nothing more that a colorful pelt. "Um, am I annoying you guys? 'Cuz I can leave... I mean, I don't want to be a bother or anything, but I just don't have anyone to talk to, ever" she said suddenly, breaking her silence and turning her nose to the ground. She looked up at the felines, her nose still turned to the ground, giving a sweet-and-innocent sort of look to her.

Asaku turned away slightly. "Any wild animal that would call a human a friend might as well have that thing on. Are you no better than one of their cowardly, over-fed mutts?" The subject had obviously gotten to the lion and he knew that he would rather die fighting than be be a human's friend or servant. The only things worse than humans in the large cat's mind were hyenas. "And what do you mean, 'just a kitty-cat?" he asked, suddenly whipping his head around and facing the wolf, a deep growl rumbling in his throat as he spoke. Even the suggestion that he could be somewhat tamed bothered him, or perhaps the wolf saw canines as superior, this thought amused the lion for a second but he kept his threatening snarl in place as he stared at the red dog, waiting for a reply.

Firah immediatly laid down on the ground with her paws over her head, and let out a loud yelp of fear. "Hey, Big guy! I didn't mean it offensively! I was only saying it to compare how you and those house cats both hate humans... House cats only stick around because they get fed...." she whimpered. "But you'd never understand. I know you'd think humans are terrible, but there are some that are almost like our own mothers!..... and I never had one... AND I'M NOT OVERFED!" She was silent again, only breaking the silence to let out a few terrified whimpers. Crap crap crap!!! I got on his nerves BADLY! I'm in deep trouble! I might die! I don't wanna die, not from murder! she thought, only making her fear of the masked lion worse. The furr on her neck stood up, and her tail would've been buried if she pressed it any harder to the ground.
