Ever since ThunderClan broke the Warrior code, since the rogues began to think; ever since ShadowClan threatened the peace of the forest, have things been chaotic.
Dawnstar, proud and fierce leader of ThunderClan, has betrayed her ancestors and their noble code by getting pregnant. Not only did she lose the respect of her peers, but she may very well lose a battle to decide the fate of future generations to come.
The tyrannical tomcat who leads ShadowClan, Eaglestar, has made threats against all of ThunderClan, enraging the forest and beginning a war between all four of the Clans.
WindClan have sided with Dawnstar, their pity for her overwhelming, while RiverClan's stubborn leader Pebblestar is unsure of where she stands. Her fury towards both sides are starting to get to her, so the balance of alliances is tipping.
To make matters worse, a band of rogues has joined with ShadowClan, but their leader Ace has other plans. While he holds a claw to Eaglestar's throat the battle rages, confusion arises, and allies become foes.
Only the strange ways of StarClan have come near to ending the tragedy and horror fuming deep within the forest. They have sent back a force of old, a force to be reckoned with, and even a sidekick. But what will happen when this so-called saviour loses faith? Will peace rule in the end, or will everything the Clans have ever known be destroyed by the simple naughty actions of two lovers and a bloodthirsty, power-hungry tyrant?
