Name: Sooky (Sue-key) Meaning: "Soft, tame." Just to shorten it: Sook, Sooker, Seeker. Gender: Female Age: Around the 3 year mark. Pack/Pride: None currently Species: Dingo
Physical Description: Sooker is built broad-chested and muscular, with longer legs and a slimmer build than her male opposites. With prominent muscles and a long snout full of long and sharp little teeth, one would think Sooky to be a force to be reckoned with. Which is wrong. Her fur is short and clings to her form closely. The coloration is a mixture of oranges, whites, and creams, appealing shades of each that seem extravagant despite their common-place appearance. Her chest, belly, and the area around her muzzle are all lighter shades of golden-white than the rest of her body. Sooky has tiny paws, strangely long and curved little nails, and a medium-sized fluffy tail that curls and uncurls when she moves, out of reflex and habit. The area around her rump is speckled in dark gray little hairs which make the orangey color of her pelt pop a bit more than it would. Long and wide ears twitch slightly atop her pentagon-esque head. They are a bit bigger than the average dingo's, but provide her with no better hearing than one. Eye color: Pale brown; Ordinary and plain. Main colors: Orange, white. Secondary colors: Red, brown, blackish gray. Markings: Nothing of any particular interest; She has a small spot of white in the center of her back, but other than that she has nothing distinguishable.
Personality Description: Sooky is a shy canine; Silent and skittish as a deer. She avoids speaking around larger groups of dogs, for crowds unnerve her and make her tremble like a chihuahua. She is a very nice dog, if you can hang around her long enough without her running from you. Sooky is the type of canine that if you made friends with her, you would really want to hold onto that friendship. She is sweet and sensitive with a subtle charm and a cutely nervous view on the world. If only she could get over her flightiness, Sooks might actually find herself to fit in pretty well with the others. Her fighting skills are pitiful; She can't figure out any kind of fighting technique, and her body literally freezes if she is caught up in confrontation. Hunting seems to be her gift despite her... less than perfect... fighting. A strong nose and swift paws make it easy for her to track down prey, and even if her battling skills are rusty, her sharp teeth are not when piercing her foods throat. Her views on this is that fighting involves others, and hunting... Hunting can be done in any manner of ways.
History of character: Her history is not long, for she is still young as one might understand. She was the second in a litter of three, in a small nomadic tribe that wandered around the pack lands as they pleased. She grew up with two rowdy brothers- Which lead to her becoming quiet and meek so she would be ignored by the sharp-clawed little males who had a tendency to pounce on their napping sister. Sooky stayed with her little tribe after she became a young adult, but left them a few weeks after she turned three. She's been wandering mostly ever since, hanging around the canine lands and occasionally venturing into the mutual critter land when she has the guts.
Strengths: Working with children, running, tracking down food, Weaknesses: Fighting, conversation, public speaking, Likes: Pups, the few that can befriend her, hunting, laying in the sun, water, to sing / hum to herself, nice canines and felines, elder animals, stories. Dislikes: Competitive dogs, aggressive creatures, being crept up on, thieves, those with malicious intentions toward pups and elders, crowds, being put on the spot.
Other: Mmmm... nope. :3
Quick Role-play sample: A bark. The unmistakable fluttering of wings. Feathers in the air, bright red liquid staining the earth. The last desperate call of a bird moving on to the next world as Sooky's sharp teeth dug through the feathers to pierce its jugular vein. A quail! A quail! She had never been quite quick enough to grab one before they flew off until now. The warm little bundle of feathers and meat sent tantalizing smells curling up into her nostrils and the dingo drooled a little bit, hungry eyes on her catch. She picked it up in her jaws, carrying the quail beneath a shady tree before laying down to nibble at the delectable food. It was perfect. Plump and juicy and filling. After wolfing down the bird, Sooky rolled around in the reddish colored dirt, kicking her legs in the air contentedly. A full tummy, a nice patch of half shade and half sun, and a warm afternoon made the drowsy canine yawn. "Mmm... time for a nap." Sooky whispered to herself, curling up in the dirt and letting out a happy sigh. Her eye lids slowly dropped, and one last joyous whine escaped her mouth before she settled in for a nice little sleeping session, the quail warm in her belly and a small smile on her jaws. Life was wondrous.
