Wow, so last august i pierced my cartilage on my left ear. Everything was great until I got hoops to put in the piercing for christmas. I switched the diamond stud to a silver hoop that day, taking me about 3 hours of ouchies and swelling and the works. It was really sore for a couple of days and then it was fine. Until.. dun dun dunnnn
It started being sore if i slept on it or any time someone bumped it. It would start throbbing whenever I hit it on accident. I loved the way it looked so much better than the plain stud. But it had developed a lump on the back exit hole of my ear and the lump was super sensitive and just plain annoying. So one day i noticed the lump had like a scab, so i picked at it and it was a huge mess, blood and nastiness was everywhere. Ever since that day, every time I hit it it would start bleeding again and again. I had gotten used to it until this past week i noticed a tiny little not sensitive or annoying lump appeared on the front entrance hole. I was like hmm okay wtv as long as it doesn't cause pain im fine. So I casually played with the hoop here and there until this past friday i was playing with it and then the back lump started bleeding again. It was finally getting better until that day. So yesterday I took the hoop out in the morning, my mom told me it wasn't worth it if my ear was going to be damaged. So I was devastated knowing that the hole would now close up...
I cleaned it with alcohol just now and decided to put the stud back in. It took a little while but I was successful!! I'm just going to keep cleaning with alcohol and hopefully this stupid thing will go away now that i went back to the stud. Whooh.. and that's all for now. *sigh*
