For centuries, only one thing has divided gods from mortals: the Mist. It is something that provides a mask for mythical creatures, disguises the gods, and helps the world stay intellectually intact. What happens when that occult barrier begins to wear away? Well, mortals begin to see things, things that they had supposed didn't exist, things that make them feel as if they're completely off their rockers. So, what do they do? Panic. And what do the gods do? Well, what can they do.
